Hi, it is hard to find help on google, so I would like to ask for some help here. I was happy with use of browser link in vs 2013 but for 2015 it is not working as expected.

First of all with standard vs 2015 fully updated, and after using web app template for asp. net core, there was issues with getting connections for browser link. I had managed solution, by following advise on stack overflow, and after adding web essentials and web pack (just we did not helped), I was able to get connection in the browser link dashboard.

I was happy but my happines was not too long, when I have realized that inspect mode, and design mode is not working as expected. When I switching on this modes there is no possibility to mark anything, there is only cross cursor visible, it should be like in 2013 where there was possibility to mark some element and then vs was opening file which was related to that element.

Please advise and help.

Best regards

Arkadiusz

The tooling for ASP.NET Core in Visual Studio is still in preview and Browser Link isn't fully functional there yet. Unfortunately, there is nothing this extension can do to fix that

Thank you very much for reply, I will try to contact with tooling team. First I will check issues on their github repository page, maybe there is some track to follow...
