Overview

This is a app that continuously detects the objects (bounding boxes and classes) in the frames seen by your device's back camera, using a quantized MobileNet SSD model trained on the our dataset. These instructions walk you through building and running the demo on an Android device. Create an object detection application that will work on a mobile platform. This application will assist a blind user detect 8 objects of interest: car, pavement,stairs,tree,pole,puddle,long vehicles and pit.
