Hi there, I'm Maria 👋

🛠 Work Experience

Data scientist with a mechanical engineering background, experienced in multidisciplinary data science projects including condition monitoring, microstructure evaluation, quality control, and Twitter bot detection.

  • Implemented unsupervised learning techniques (LSTM, variational autoencoders) for sensor data pattern recognition;
  • Developed anomaly detection models for railway track monitoring using instrumented vehicle data;
  • Built a supervised learning model for grain size evaluation via ultrasound data;
  • Applied neural networks for coordinate transformations of track irregularities;
  • Monitored operational KPIs in a thermal power plant;
  • Optimized sensor placement using Sparse Sensing.
