The default.properties file has a commented-out property called forest-data-dir that doesn't work even if a value is specified.
We'd need to figure out how specific/generic this setting needs to be. e.g. if this dir is set, should it apply to all databases (aka content, modules, test) created? Or should there be different properties for the different types of databases? Or is it safe to assume that if people are specifying an alternative data dir, it's purely for the content DB?

Good catch. I'm inclined to say that would just apply to the content database. We could optionally add a second property for modules data forest directories. Other opinions welcome.
