Current prompts to add alt text and other forms of media to posts reference "impairment" or "hearing loss."
In contrast, Twitter uses language such as "blind or low-vision" as it relates to sight, and experts recommend language such as "hard of hearing" as it relates to hearing, since words like "loss" and "impairment" have more negative connotations.
The National Center on Disability and Journalism provides detailed guidance on which phrases are preferred when describing folks with disabilities.
This PR updates language in Mastodon's media description prompts to better conform with the guidance above.
