masumistadler/README.md

Hello there. 😺

My name is Masumi Stadler. I'm from Japan/Austria, currently living in Montréal, Canada, working on my PhD thesis at the Université du Québec à Montréal. I'm a happy alumni of the University of Vienna, Austria (BSc, MSc).

🔬 Research interests

  • 🌎 Carbon dynamics in freshwater systems
    • Greenhouse gases
    • Bacterial metabolism
  • 🦠 Microbial ecology
  • 🏞️ Cross-ecosystem connectivity (aquatic network, terrestrial-aquatic)

What to expect here on my Github:

I am an advocate for transparent and open science, so all publications where I am a first author will have code and data available.

  • Code on Github
  • Data on Zotero or NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA) for microbial data

Please find a repository for each paper, the README will include a short description for each publication including where to find the data.

I have other repositories with workflows for bioinformatic pipelines and how to automatise raw data extraction from instrument files with R. Feel free to contact me if you need assistance to automatise raw data extraction for a specific instrument of yours.
