How do I use this in rails 5?

In rails 5 something probably can go wrong. First we need tests to bump rails version. I write some tests already but it not help much right now.

I think that as beginner in Rspec (and also in Rails) It will be hard to write testing for this project? Is it worth upgrading right now to rails 4/5?
The main advantages are security? I think the GEMs will work with Rails 3..We could upgrade later..
