I use the official VSCode light theme (Default Light+). When I type :smiley: using this extension, an empty square appears where a preview ought to be.

Example:

Ekrankopio de 2020-09-17 19-34-59

When I select the text, it appears like this:

Ekrankopio de 2020-09-17 19-35-06

On a dark theme, the smiley appears normally.
