A functioning phylogenetic library for getting tree length counts under Fitch parsimony and characters with partial applicability. This C library is meant to be used by other software to calculate the length of a given tree when some or all characters have inapplicable data. This version is tested against a number of test tree cases and 'corner case' trees. It is a pre-release version intended for review and testing.
