Inserting Modelica Component #68
Comments
Hi Mustafa, OpenModelica v1.9.7 is the latest OpenModelica that works with the OpenMETA component authoring tool. I am working on supporting later OpenModelica releases in future OpenMETA releases. Until we have a new release, I'd recommend uninstalling OpenModelica v1.12.0 and installing v1.9.7 |
Mr. Smyth,
Thanks For Your Reply,
I already tried such version with the recent openmeta. but i am still
having this error.
is there any help?

Hi Mustafa, Would you please try the new version of OpenMETA: |
Hi Smyth,
Thanks, i will sure.
The thing about the last version that you can insert the model only via
openmodelica v1.9.1. but the openmodelica libraries i work within is only
working with the latest version.
So it takes me years to develop and test a code on openmodelica via latest
version, then setup the old one to insert the components in openMeta and
finally go back to setup the new version in order to run the code. it was
so primitive and time consuming.
Thanks for the update, i will give you a feedback later.

Hi All,
I am still a beginner user but I am finding a problem inserting a modelica component using CAT tool.
I had a lot of crashes an errors (attached
Errors.docx
) so I started all over again the setup of both the last versions of openmodelica (version OMEdit v1.12.0 (64-bit) )and openmeta ( 17.11.14).
the setup of both programs were in the default folders as follows:
openmodelica : C:\OpenModelica1.12.0-64bit
meta: C:\Program Files (x86)\META
But when I try to insert modelica .mo component following the documentation
After pressing [Load Model Libraries] button the Modelica model Picker stays at this shape for a long time with no progress.
on the other hand. the examples given the tutorials (i.e. satellite )are working very well and the simulation is working good via the modelica solver.
I also tried the CAT tool for the CAD models and it's working good.
I don't know what's wrong with the CAT tool regarding inserting modelica model.
thanks in advance for your prompt replies.
