Describe the bug
A bug in the service Virtual Device abstraction caused messages to not be sent to/from Virtual Devices in some (most?) cases.

Fixed in Dev Preview 7.

If you need an immediate fix, unzip and replace the existing Midi2.VirtualMidiAbstraction.dll in the %Program Files%\Windows MIDI Services\Service folder with the one from the zip file (will require admin rights to replace)
