Search bar only displays results on refresh

• VSCode Version: 1.43.0
• OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.18363

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Search any string
2. Double-click a string in the editor and reopen / close and reopen the search bar
   The search bar still displays the results from the last search even though the current search term in is the text bar. Clicking refresh is required.

Is this a bug? Whether it is or isn't, it's very annoying.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
