This project is on stand by for the moment because it's complicated to free up time and I would like to move forward olc.
Anyway, it's just a draft and it will take a lot of thought before going any further.

As for open fixture library, if you look at the format used by nino, you'll see that it's directly inspired :-)

Also, it might be interesting to also support the gdtf format

I tried building and running Nino, but could not get it to do anything. I guess Nino is a future version of OLC?

I tried to build use OLC yesterday, but could not patch or see any channels, as I reported in an Issue.
I’m willing to help, maybe first with documentation - I can write and create tutorial videos - but I’d need support from you so I can understand how to use it.
You can see some of my work at chromakinetics.com - especially the documentation for my miniStageConsole software.

Because when I started olc I didn't know either python or gtk (I'm not a developer at all), some improvements will surely be impossible - like fixtures for example. So I wanted to test some ideas with nino.
It will therefore effectively be a working basis for a future version of olc. But maybe...one day...not soon... For now, maybe it's just interesting for developers

I saw your Issue. Please continue there.

Any help is welcome !
