This repository contains the source code of the UI for https://mitoc-gear.mit.edu, the interface to the gear database of the MIT Outing Club.
It is written using React and Typescript. It was bootstrapped with Create React App.
To run this app locally, you need to:
- Have Node.js v16 installed
- After installing Node.js v16, install
yarn
vianpm install --global yarn
- Have a local version of the gear database backend API running on http://localhost:8000. This backend code lives (for now) in a separate private repository.
In the project directory, you can run:
Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.
The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.
Builds the app for production to the build
folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.
The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!
