What is your setup and what do you expect to happen?
Please describe the hardware setup (+ Preferences > Sound Hardware > Input) and please post a screenshot of the Mic section in the GUI.

btw, the mic ducking behaviour has been changed in 2.3. The Strength knob now behaves the same in both ducking modes:
turn fully left to fully reduce the music volume
turn fully right for no ducking

Ducking mode:
Manual = music volume is reduced when any Talk button is pressed
Auto = music volume is reduced when when the input of any active Mic
raises above a treshold
see also mouse-over tooltips of the Mic controls.

Indeed there is a different behavior on the late versions. Thank you. Although I have to notice that the music volume when ducking is on auto reduces slower in comparison to 2.2.3 version. As a result the first words of a sentence get mixed with the music.
