In the file explorer such as Dolphin (as well as other music players including on other devices) tracks can be rated and display ratings that are not displayed in Mixxx. It would be very useful if one could just display the ratings from file-metadata in a new column (or in the rating column if it's configured to show these).
Some users would like to have the Mixxx' and file-metadata ratings to be in sync.
It would be useful to have an option to keep these two ratings in sync. One could add specific conditions for syncing these, like only syncing within one playlist, later. (One could even write these ratings to the description in a standardized format so that other software can read/write those ratings.) This would also require refreshing the tracks metadata somehow (such as periodically and/or whenever a track/playlist is loaded).
