I have several Tb of music, stored on NAS, and I wish to have a large part of that available in my Mixxx library at home.
However, I also desire the ability to be able to copy (with a transcode to save space) a subset of the music files to a USB drive for mobile usage.
Could this be possible in any way?
My initial thought has been that a Musicbrainz ID could be involved, but a less convoluted method could involve Mixxx managing and remembering the state of what is copied to a dedicated USB device.
If #10147 is achieved then there could be the possibility of such a USB transfer process within Mixxx actually generating a curtailed profile/subset library on the USB drive itself that can be specified upon loading when using Mixxx when lacking access to the home NAS on even when running on another machine.
