Caused by last line (which also contains a typo in the comment):

Besides the message, what are the symptoms affecting Mixxx?

No issues in Mixxx, just a confusing syslog.

This udev rule seems to cause issue on Ubuntu 24.04 (waiting for confirmation)

It seems this was introduced in #637 and reused in #813, but I cannot see the reason why NAME had to be set. Could this be a genuine bug? I guess if we aren't sure, we could split the udev rule into two rules (legacy and current) and install the current on newer system.
