Changing Preferences while playing song affects speed #4931
Comments
Commented by: asantoni This only occurs with a 96000 Hz samplerate and is somehow related to the EnginebufferStretchST class. (I've tried to fix this before, but will have to give it another shot one day.) Thanks for the bug report! |
Commented by: infinoid I am also getting this problem as well, using 48000Hz on a usb 5.1 card. (The card doesn't support 44100Hz.) It sounds like the preferences dialog resets the playback rate to 44100Hz... the playback tempo is not doubled, but it is definitely faster (and higher pitch, regardless of the "Pitch behavior" setting). Tweaking any of the tempo controls makes the playback rate sane again. |
Commented by: rryan Mark and Jaeger, could you please test out Mixxx 1.8.0 ? I think we've fixed this. |
Commented by: qa911nh This now works as expected in 1.8.0 - no change in playback speed when you go to Options/Preferences then press the OK button. |
