It would be nice to support playing headphone cue to one side and master to the other with the headphone output

This is the default behavior on Hercules DJ Console MK2, and I'd like a way to be able to switch this "feature" off. The master coming through the left headphone distracts me and I wish there was a way to just have the headphone cue play through both headphones.

Hi annie_linux,

You can adjust the head/master mix via a knob in the GUI. The Hercules MK2's
headphone source select knob can interfere with this because it does some
things in hardware that we can't control. However, on my MK2 I can get it
working as just the headphone cuing if I fiddle with it enough.

Thanks,
RJ Ryan

RJ Ryan,

Thanks for the tip. I will try fiddling with this soon.

It would also be useful to allow users to choose to output stereo channels for the master, but just one mono channel for headphones. Audio interface outputs are always at a premium, this would allow people to choose to free one of them up. For me at least, mono or stereo makes no difference in headphones - I'd gladly sacrifice stereo in the headphones for one more audio out that I could use for something else. I'd want to keep the master output in stereo though.

@bkgood -- kicking this back to the pool in case anyone else wants to pick it up.

+1 Rob -- it would be generally useful if we could select mono output for any audio output -- not just specifically enabling Master/Headphone on a particular pair of outputs.
