I was testing packages in an Ubuntu 11.10 VM last night, and I noticed that if you hit the maximize button, the Mixxx window behaves badly. It doesn't maximize at all and because of the way Unity handles windows, it becomes impossible to drag it or un-maximize it.

I have a slightly different issue but maybe from the same kind.
Unity uses a global menu like MAC OS. The mixxx menu bar is displayed in the top panel.
Maximize and minimize works well, the buttons to do that are displayed in the upper left corner.
When I switch to full screen the mixxx menu is gone. You are not able to switch back to windowed mode unless you know the magic key F11.
