Commented by: daschuer Thank you for your bug report. This bug is similar to: |
Commented by: kain88-de This sounds like something for the Status/Progress - Bar |
Commented by: rryan How about a 1.12.0 band-aid that shows the time when you hover on the playlist name in the sidebar? |
Commented by: daschuer Fine! |
Commented by: troy-thiel Would this work for a manual playlist you put into Auto DJ as well? So if you hover on Auto DJ it will tell you the total running time of all the songs currently in there? That's more in line with what I was looking for. I manually build playlists to finish a DJ session and need them to fill 20 or 30 minutes of time sometimes and would like to know that I have the total time covered. Thank you!

Commented by: troy-thiel Forgive me for a naive question.....when I click on this link it takes me to a bunch of code. Is this code I could take and put into the Mixx software myself if I knew what I was doing?
|
Commented by: ywwg That link is to a change that has been applied to trunk. You can either wait until the next release or try to build Mixxx from the git sourcecode. We will be releasing a beta Real Soon Now so it might just be easier to wait. |
Commented by: rryan I think the band-aid (showing total time in the sidebar) ended up being good enough (I think this bug was more about showing the total time in the main table view and we don't really have the vertical space for that) |

i know there's not a lot of space for it, but i'm thinking maybe as a tool tip on the playlist name. this way i don't have to use another program to build a playlist!
