MIDI Learning wizard on Windows 7 :: mouse cursor gone

On Windows 7 I helped a guy to install mixxx alpha, see Bug 1492879

We then tried to add effect mapping for Reloop Digital Jockey with MIDI Learing wizard.
Clicking effect enable buttons in skin, then on controller worked fine.
Then we tried the same for Meta knobs which failed with a proper error message, but after that the mouse cursor was invisble in Mixxx window (hovering other windows it was visible).
