Has this worked with Onsen or Ionic ? #2
Comments
Hi PJ, ~mjohan |
Hi there,
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply.
I am hoping to use Ionic 2 for the project.
I’ve already written a small app in Android using the Empatica Api.
But obviously if I can use something like Ionic I hope to make it available on IOS too.
Was it Ionic 1 that you used?
Thanks
PJ

Hi PJ, Actually, in case you don't mind using native iOS (obj-C), Empatica has provided examples here. You just need to download and follow the steps from the previous link. However, as you said before, the main benefit by using Ionic is that (hopefully) you only need to develop it once for both platforms. ~mjohan |
Hi mjohan,
Thank you very much for your help.
Yes, I’m not at all familiar with IOS .. I don;t even have an iphone.. heh heh..
But it would be great to have the option of publishing an app to IOS eventually..
I have my little android app sending data to a nodejs REST server, now I’d like to display it.. and I was trying to decide what to use.
I have done some work in Angular JS (Angular 1.x) and only a very small amount of Ionic 1.
I have a little time available to learn some new stuff so I thought I might try Angular 2 etc..
It would make it a lot more interesting to learn Angular 2 and all the typescript stuff if knew it would be useful in Ionic 2 as well.
So I will be really interested to know if your plugin will work with Ionic 2.
Then I could re-do the mobile app in Ionic 2 and create the webapp using Angular 2…
Best Regards,
PJ

Hi PJ,
I haven't tried the plugin in Ionic2 project, but my ionic1 project works properly both on Android and iOS. If I have some available time next week, I will try to check this plugin on Ionic2 project.

Hi,
I'm very happy to find this repo.
Have you had a chance to try using it to make an app with Ionic or Onsen or anything like that?
Thanks
PJ
