Creating a Macroinvertebrate module #40
Comments
@mmindje @Thacien1 @DanielIgirimbabazi Yes, that is a good idea. Please follow the guidelines in the documents including creating csv files from the xls files. Then please only import to the RBIS staging site. Please check with Dimas that it is operational as I am battling to get on. Let me know how it goes. If you have problems we can go through it again together. |
Thank you Helen.
Regards
Would you remind us how we get free silhouettes?
Thank you

Thank you so much @helendallas . We are planning to upload the macroinvertebrates module this afternoon. However, the staging site (https://staging.rbis.kartoza.com/) seems to be not functioning. Do you have any advice on this? Regards, |
Thank you so much.
They both look great
Sure, thank you

We have already designed icons for fish, invertebrates and algae, so you
are welcome to use these - it makes sense to align FBIS and RBIS where
possible :)

Dimas has just advised that the RBIS staging site is no longer working. He indicated that it looks like the serve was taken down on your side. You will have to check with Pelin? etc about what the problem is. See separate email from Dimas copied to Mapendo as well. |
@mmindje The crab one is for the macroinvertebrates. I am not sure about harvesting from GBIF as your data are all at family level or higher. This will mean many taxa come down that are terrestrial as well. Perhaps hold on this for now until we can discuss. You wont be able to do anything either until the staging site is back up and running. |
Thank you for your email Helen.
Let us follow up with Pelin on the staging site
Regards

Dear @helendallas
My team @Thacien1 and @DanielIgirimbabazi would like to have its first full trial to create the macroinvertebrate module and ingest in the data.
We will also harvest data from GBIIF.
With this, once prompted, we can always come back you.
Is that okay per now?
