POAP's for Grants Round 13

MMM is the marketing arm of the Gitcoin DAO. MMM ideates, implements, and optimizes a comprehensive marketing strategy that allows Gitcoin to massively scale its impact. We enable thousands of builders to create products that support a rich ecosystem that's owned and governed by the broader internet community. MMM defines the organization’s market positioning, promotes Gitcoin to our target audiences and creates campaigns that demonstrate how potential users and stakeholders benefit by working with us.

🏆 Prize: 1000 DAI

We will reward a total of 1000 DAI to the best submissions within the different categories described below. The price will be distributed to whoever makes the best set of POAP’s. One set for Gitcoin Grants, and one set for dGrants.

🥊 Challenge

Create POAPs for Grants Round 13 that can be sent to grants contributors.
We are looking for a set of 3 POAPs for each of the two categories below:

Gitcoin Grants

  • 🥇 Tier 1: 50 Grants
  • 🥈 Tier 2: 11- 25 Grants
  • 🥉 Tier 3: 1-10 Grants

Decentralized grants (dGrants)

  • 🥇 Tier 1: 10 Grants
  • 🥈 Tier 2: 5 Grants
  • 🥉 Tier 3: 1 Grants

Submission Requirements

Image requirements:

  • Original working file, for example .psd as well as .png for easier review.
  • Background should be transparent.
  • Dimension should be 500x500px
  • No animation (due to filesize limitation of POAPs)
  • Must be readable on smaller screens
  • The designs should be aligned with the culture and values of Gitcoin.

📝 Submission Process

Post the POAPs with a short summary of the concepts in the #general channel under townsquare in Discord and tag jahnsson#8327, Fred.#5650 or brittneyscott#7539 in your post. (If you are new to the server, make sure to first pick a role in the #start-here channel!)

🏁 Winner Announcement Date

Deadline for finished designs is Feb 10, we will review the submissions and announce the winners on Feb 14.

  • Original artwork only - no copyrighted or trademarked material allowed.
  • Themes and vibes that might help in the design process include: Gitcoin, DAO, Regen, MoonshotBots, Futuristic.

Designed POAP templates for each grant i.e Gitcoin and D-Grants, with the right usage of brand colors, I was able to design some good-looking Poaps.

Inspired by MoonshotBots, creating an astronaut & a space shuttle to use them as elements of space in juxtaposition with the GRANTs logo combined with the color theme and values of GITCOIN. The Crown will be used as a symbol of victory and triumph. The following are three POAPs designed for GRANTS with roman numbers and the other three for DGRANTS with standard English numbers.

2 templates for grants and decentralized grants. Made following the colors and brand guidelines.

6 POAPs for Gitcoin Grants Round 13:

  • 3 for Gitcoin Grants
  • 3 Decentralized Grants
    14) johnsence has started work.

POAP design is inspired by web3, Space, decentralization and the people who give grants therefore showing them building rockets and getting ready to launch in the space.
The entire layout is modular with different types of tiers and shapes allowing for quick changes in tier system. There are 3 shape types and 4 color schemes.
15) kissantas has started work.
