[09/21/2023] New Mojo update!

Hey everyone 👋 ,

We just released a new version of Mojo 🔥 (v0.3.0). This includes updates to the downloadable SDK, the Playground and the VS code extension. Going forward, we plan to do releases often (every few weeks) and keep these artifacts synchronized. To see what's changed, check out the changelog.

Ensure you have the latest release of the modular CLI tool and then update your version of the Mojo SDK:

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install modular
$ modular update mojo

Please note:

1. We are aware that some of you are still experiencing installation issues. This update does not include fixes for these but we’re working hard these and fixes will be available soon.
2. If you have an active session in the Mojo Playground, you'll need to restart it to get the updated version of Mojo.
