Shouldn't SEPA Direct Debit be removed as gateway in the plugin? It's now shown and selectable as payment method but gives an error "Could not create SEPA Direct Debit payment." when selected.

The recent newsletter already communicated that it wouldn't be selectable in the API/interface anymore, plugin doesn't seem to respect this.

  • Stopped SEPA Direct Debit from showing in checkout
  • Stopped SEPA Direct Debit from showing in WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout
  • Tested that subscriptions with iDEAL etc are still created correctly
  • Checked that subscriptions with iDEAL etc are still renewed correctly
