I just don’t understand how this is intended to be used. The app separates interactions between “Conversations” and “Phone Calls”.
I think most people are probably summarizing their phone calls instead of verbatim logging them word for word.
“Conversations” seems to be messaging platforms oriented (although odd that text message is left out). It is hard for me to imagine people individually logging back and forth each message rather just adding a summary after the conversation has ended along with who initiated it.
So then these two distinct features really become the same thing, an interaction summary and the channel it occurred on which could be a call, text, messenger, etc (although sometimes they blend across multiple channels). It feels strange to me that these would be treated as separate things. An arguement can be made to take it a step further that these are really just a type of journal entry tagged as a conversation and with people involved. I say this because in the days of paper journals, we often do include our important interactions we want to remember.
Also the way “Conversations” is displayed makes it really difficult to read since the design of a message is expected to be short rather than a summary. The input box is very small.
I really hate to customize how I’m using this product but I am curious to hear from others. Maybe I’m missing some really simple concept that will make this all “click”. Otherwise, hopefully this is something that can be fixed up in v3.
Thanks!
