What's the current status of inline functions and class templates?

We're looking into using CppSharp for our library. At the first glance, the two features we're missing is support for inline functions and templates.

Googling shows they were WIP at some point in the past, but it's not clear what their status is now. Are there some toggles to enable them?

I am not sure about their limitations to be honest, as I don't use those features much myself.
At least for inlines, I believe they should work, see: https://github.com/mono/CppSharp/blob/main/src/Generator/Passes/GenerateSymbolsPass.cs

I think you need to enable Options.CheckSymbols and pass your library file to the module.

As for templates, you should enable Options.GenerateClassTemplates and Options.GenerateFunctionTemplates.

If you control your native code, then its always much easier to make the code simple enough so the generator can easily handle it without much trouble.
