Hey @mousedownmike I have just come across your repository as we are also doing something similar in htmx. I think to resolve the issue of visiting protected routes directly, we could use Cookies instead of the local storage when using aws-amplify this will allow every request made to the server to always have a session present (if there is one) allowing you to not need a htmx-get request to be made. Thanks for bringing this repo up though! has helped me better understand a few things in htmx
