Releases: mshamash/OnePetri
v1.1.1-11
Version 1.1.1
What’s New
- Reduced machine learning model file sizes by 85% (compared to v1.0.1-8), significantly reducing the overall size of the OnePetri app (now using YOLOv5n v6.1 models, instead of YOLOv5s v5 previously)
- New to v1.1.1-11: YOLOv5n v6.1 models are quantized to fp16, further reducing CoreML model sizes while maintaining high accuracy
v1.1.0-10
Version 1.1.0
What’s New
- Reduced machine learning model file sizes by 70% (compared to v1.0.1-8), significantly reducing the overall size of the OnePetri app (now using YOLOv5n v6.1 models, instead of YOLOv5s v5 previously)
- Reduced time needed to detect Petri dishes and plaques
- Fixed bug where some icons may not render properly on iOS 13
- Minor changes to default detection thresholds for Petri dishes and plaques
- User experience enhancements
v1.0.1-8
Version 1.0.1
What’s New
- Fixed bug where Plaque Assay screen may display incorrectly on iPads
- Fixed bug where opening an invalid image from the photo library may cause the application to crash
- Fixed bug where selecting a small Petri dish (<416 width or <416 height) could cause the application to crash, added warning that image is too small and cannot be analyzed
v1.0.0-6 - Initial Public Release
OnePetri is finally here! Harness the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision to save valuable time when performing common Petri dish assays! All analysis is done offline, making this the quickest and most robust plaque-counting solution out there.
A special thank you goes out to all of our beta testers who put this app through its paces before being publicly released.
Version 1.0.0
With support for phage plaques of all shapes, sizes, and turbidities, OnePetri is every scientist’s perfect lab companion. Multiple petri dishes in one image? No problem! OnePetri allows you to select only the petri dish you wish to analyze. For optimal results, it is recommended to have no more than ~2 petri dishes in the frame of each image, so that the pixel density per petri dish is maximized. More tips can be found here.
What’s New
- Initial public release!
- Use “Quick count” to get quick & accurate plaque counts for any circular petri dish
- Support for plaque/titration assays using tenfold dilutions (note: spot assays are not yet supported)
- Images can be selected from the photo library or captured with the device’s camera
v1.0.0-5, TestFlight Beta 4
TestFlight beta release (July 19, 2021)
=== Changelog ===
New: check for threshold validity in app settings before attempting to save value
New: added 'tips' button to main menu with tips on how to improve performance & get consistent results
Changed: simplified available plaque thresholds on settings screen and changed default NMS IOU threshold for plaques
Fixed: fixed bug where '+' stepper button in plaque assay menu may not respond to certain touches
Fixed: improved memory management by fixing two strong reference cycles
v1.0.0-4, TestFlight Beta 3
TestFlight beta release (July 17, 2021)
=== Changelog ===
New: added support for iPads
New: added button on Settings screen to learn more about model thresholds (currently brings you to an empty page)
Changed: lowered detection thresholds for plaques to improve recall on certain images
Fixed: selecting an overlapping region which contains two petri dish bounding boxes would open two "count plaques" screens, this is no longer the case and such touches are ignored
Fixed: updated logo on main menu so it is more visible when device is in dark mode
Fixed: improved user interface on small devices (iPod Touch and iPhone SE, 1st gen.)
v1.0.0-3, TestFlight Beta 2
Added check for camera access to avoid black screen, TestFlight beta release (July 16, 2021)
v1.0.0-2, TestFlight Beta 1
Initial TestFlight beta release (July 15, 2021)
