Strava is a social media app dedicated to connecting users through exercise. I use this app to track my runs and biking activities. A large advantage of Strava when compared to other exercise apps is that Strava allows users access to their own data.
This repository is dedicated to the Strava program I am creating using R-Notebooks. I have set it to automatically pull data from my Strava profile and summarize simple statistics by year. When I get time, I plan to create plots and year by year comparisons as I track my runs. I also bike on a regular basis but am more interested in analyzing and improving my run time. This is currently a work in progress and I will only work on it when I have time and motivation. Expect frequent changes as I think of new ideas for this program and have time to clean and tidy it up. As a note, this program is specialized to track running activities only - however - it can be easily manipulated to track rides and swims as well, just email me for help!
