A current issue in NLP is the use of top performing but ressource-hungry models regardless of the Sentiment Analysis task they're used for. The goal was to develop adaptative Sentiment Analysis based on the difficulty to apprehend text subjectivity (DATS) and use the most efficient model accordingly.
  • Studied state of the art research papers
  • Benchmarked different top performing models on different Sentiment Analysis tasks
  • Engineered meaningful features to evaluate DATS
  • Proposed new adaptative sentiment analysis method and models to a board of researchers
