I'm experimenting with the MySQLSchemaTool and have a question regarding the second parameter where we can define a set of tables to provide context to the agent.

If I include more tables to give the agent broader relational context, this obviously increases the token usage. In this case:

Would it be more efficient (in terms of token usage and model performance) to create a dedicated agent for each table instead?

Or perhaps group tables into smaller logical clusters (e.g., related by foreign keys) and assign one agent per group?

Have you observed any impact on response quality or latency when scaling the context via multiple tables?

Is there any internal token threshold in your implementation we should be aware of when feeding schema data?

Hi @devinkel if you create an agent for each table you will consume even more tokens. Specialized agent on sub-group of tables are recommended because you can focus the agent action toward a specific use case. In an agent specilized in order management, maybe the tables related to oath authentication in your database are not relevant and can only lead to mistakes. This is the way to increase response quality and performance. Remeber the agent is only as good as the context we give it. Too much or too less are equally bad.
