The What actually stops it is probably the proxy setting. Your device is factory reset, With the setting off, CWNG answers the auth itself (dummy OAuth token) and points |

hm... It synced one time. I was away from the notebook for a couple of minutes, when I came back, i saw the 19 books on the device. But i cannot make it sync again, i dont know, why it synced in the first place :-( and i have another finding. And I need to clarify a few points.
The sync (which i cannot reproduce) happend while in Sideloadedmode=false mode. When in SideloadMode=true: Nginx CWNG log: When in SideloadMode=false (but still not logged in @kobo): Nginx: CWNG So, in sideloadmode=true it doesnt work at all |

Thanks for the logs from both modes, they narrow it down. In SideloadedMode=true the Kobo asks for In the other mode there's one request CWNG gets wrong: Two quick checks would tell me which way to go. Both only read:

Thank you for your ongoing support here! highly apreciated! In the meantime I have some (bad?) news: This morning, while sipping a cup of coffee, the sync worked again - one time :-( After the "first" on-time sync yesterday, there were 19 books on the device. I added three more books to the shelf (22 in total), but were never able to sync again. The status on Kobo (upper right pop-up, where you see the sync status) was "Sync completed"
tried it again after a couple of seconds - didnt work, again:-( This time, the status on Kobo (upper right pop-up, where you see the sync status) was "Sync unsuccessful" Let me tell you, its so frustrating, when the behaviour of a device is unpredictable and not reproduceable. If you are OK with it (or do you want me to stay in status as of now?), I'd like to factory reset again, and start from scratch. I would then jot down the status auf various things (like kobo conf, database, etc) after each step. |

Hi there,
i am running CWNG in a docker environment behind a reverse proxy and I am trying to sync my shelf(s) to my Kobo Libra Colour. I never did a sync before, I managed my books with the desktop version of Calibre.
The WEB UI works just fine and there is no issue whatsoever with any of the features and functions.
But i do have a problem with syncing my books to the device.
When I initiate a sync on my Kobo I can see in the logs of the container (nginx log)
(NOTE: i use a user agent switcher, so dont worry about the user agent in this log):

PS: i posted this question also in the discussion area on mobilread (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4619589#post4619589), maybe with slightly different keys or ids (tried a few things since yesterday). But either way, the behaviour is the same.
If there will be a solution available on either side (mobilread or here), I will update the other side respectively.
