This Ruby Gem provides a CLI to view meals from 24 countries around the world, sourced from The Meal DB Api. Users can choose an area to explore and view meal ideas from that area. Users can also drill down to see more details about the meal including ingredients and cooking instructions.
You can install this gem by typing the following prompt in your terminal:
$ gem install world_cusine
The world_cuisine
CLI will be installed and you can run bin/world_cuisine
to get a list of meal areas right in your command line.
Run: bin/world_cuisine
after installing the gem.
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
