I tried a few different files. The error was the same (attached). It looks like it is just getting to the datalist stage.

What did you put for mbs_bin_dir?

I have a feeling that it can't find the executables because on Windows, executables end with ".exe". On Mac and Linux they don't, and mbgui doesn't account for that.

yes each of the commands we need are .exe in the windows version

The commands now have .exe appended when on Windows.
