Overview

NLP-ADAPT-Kube (Artifact Discovery and Preparation Toolkit for Kubernetes) is a system for large-scale text ensemble processing of biomedical and clinical reports. The system is being developed by the Natural Language Processing and Information Extraction program at the University of Minnesota Institute for Health Informatics. This is a collaborative project that aims to serve biomedical and clinical researchers; it will allow users to use custom annotations extracted from NLP-ADAPT-VM to process large amounts of data at scale.

Project Goals

  • Scalability and performance. NLP-ADAPT-Kube is designed to process millions of notes across multiple nodes using distributed parallelization.
