The @openjsf is holding their free event, #OpenJSWorld, on June 2 and 3. There'll be a number of excellent talks, including several on Node.js. If you'd like to attend, you can register here:

Putting it out. Noting my feedback (omitting the discussion from others) from the DM that included @RRomoff, @rginn, and @joesepi:

Is the event’s name #OpenJSWorld?

As the name or the hashtag?

I don't understand what you mean

Added a suggestion to reflect the events name

happy to merge after that

if that's not the hashtag you're using, we shouldn't use it? I'm confused

also I'm confused about how our own tweet will be included in measurements?

but this would be artificial inflation of that metric, wouldn't it?

for context, I'm pretty explicitly anti-hashtag since they only create noise on the platform with no real benefit for users. Conferences are the caveat for that, though this isn't actually a tweet that's about the conference's content.

I'll put this out as is but in the future I'd prefer we limit hashtags as much as is possible.

also, since this was more than one tweet it would be preferable to have this discussion as an issue in nodejs/social-team rather than in the privacy of a DM. Not doing so increases the workload when I have to explain our decision making process to project maintainers later rather than it being transparent.
