Who: I am a analytical-empirical social scientist, interested in social inequality, with a special focus on wealth inequality. I am also interested in educational inequality, family sociology, labor market inequality, skills and causal inference.

Where: I work as a senior researcher at GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Mannheim, Germany.

Education: I hold a PhD (supervised by Hans-Peter Blossfeld and Moshe Semyonov) and a master in Sociology from the University of Bamberg. Throughot my PhD studies I stayed one year at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy.
