Actually, there is no feature to connect islands. |
ok so the e.g. of what's happening after pasting an uv onto other object im getting individual faces made into islands this is for showcase on the right is original uv island and on the left are islands divided into faces by the copy/paste function im not quiet sure why but these faces cannot be merged by distance and some games im working with are quiet sensitive about seams and uv cuts and model that's getting exported with that uv turns into jigsaw. |

right?

Umm... Are your separated UV coordinates same value? |
Hi I've been wondering about copy paste behaviour mainly about how it does split whole islands into many small pieces. is there any rational way to stich all these disconnected pieces into working whole with one click?
Merge by distance isn't working properly with that and im wondering how to solve that issue... any chance for a one click merge islands option or a checkbox within the uv copy/paste function to connect any disconnected close islands?
