CL has 'adult endothelial progenitor cell', though it may need updating ("An adult angioblastic cell released from the bone marrow, capable of blood circulation and participation in angiogenesis by differentiating into blood vessel endothelial cells. Their existence is controversial."). The correct link is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endothelial_progenitor_cell. I'll tag this for training.

For this to work for fish then we can't specify bone marrow since adult zebrafish keep their blood generation system in their kidney.

Thanks @cerivs . We could modify the definition to e.g. "An adult angioblastic cell released from the bone marrow, or from the kidney in some teleost species, capable of blood circulation...". Would that work?

I think that will work.
