Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'mailinator'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install mailinator
Mailinator.configure do |config|
config.token = 'YOURTOKEN'
end
Access to an email
email = Mailinator::Email.get('email-abcd1234')
Access to a private email
email = Mailinator::Email.get('email-abcd1234', private_domain: true)
Now you have access to some methods:
email.from_full
email.date
email.received
email.from
email.to
email.subject
email.request_id
email.body
email.body_base_64
email.orig_from
email.id
email.time
email.seconds_ago
Access to an inbox
inbox = Mailinator::Inbox.get('inbox-abcd1234')
This returns a list of the emails for the given inbox, but not the emails themselves.
To download an Email
you need:
email = inbox.messages.first.download
or
inbox.messages.first.download do |email|
[...]
end
To delete an Email
you need:
inbox.messages.first.delete
Access to a private inbox
inbox = Mailinator::Inbox.get('inbox-abcd1234', private_domain: true)
