Hey there, I would like to let you know that the Telegram link isnt working, also, I'd like to do testing too, sending logs too! |

Hi I tested the application on a PS4 Slim running firmware 12.50. When I activated the payload server on port 9090 and opened the app, it would close, the video signal to my TV would cut out, and the console would essentially "shut down"—to the point where I have to hold down the power button to turn it off completely. |

Hey everyone. This project got a lot more attention than I expected, so I wanted one place to talk about where it goes next and how people can get involved.
What development actually looks like
Honestly: one person, one fat PS4 on 13.52, and a lot of testing. Every change gets built into a PKG, installed on a real console, and run end to end: a fresh install, an update over an existing install, and a look through the logs. Most of 1.1's fixes came from those runs turning up bugs nobody would spot by reading code.
The big limit is hardware. I can only test what I own, so Slim, Pro, Baikal and every firmware other than 13.52 depend on you. Here's how a fix happens on a console I don't have:
hardware.txt, which says exactly which chips your console has and which drivers loaded. The roadmap lists the known work with what's already figured out: the memory issue behind "restart your PS4", hardware video decoding, Baikal USB, native app ports and more.
A place to work together
I'm used to tinkering alone in my room and I'm not a Discord person, so I'd rather not be the bottleneck. There's now a Telegram group for testing and swapping notes. Come say hi. If anyone wants to run a Discord too, post the link here.
A few things that would help a lot:
Reply with your console model and firmware, and what you'd like to help with. Even "I've got a Slim on 11.02 and can test" is useful.
