Notes from the ODPi Operations PMC 10/26 meeting

- Operations Spec
Tim will make sure to state the old approach of adding to the stack is still valid.
- Spec discussion based on the email
Had demo. There are no issues with the way Ampool delivers their service.
- Enabling Hive in ODPi stack
Roman did a first pass and Sumit helped fix some python issues. Roman is still working through some issues with WebHCat.
- ODPi stack into Ambari git
No progress yet. Roman will look at getting the ODPi stack into Ambari. Not a requirement for the first release.
- Test App
Roman will look at the Hello World sample app (Tim will help if Roman gets stuck). Not a requirement for the first release.
- Unit tests
Tim will help build some unit tests for that. Can test ODPi stack. Can also test a custom app, packaged as management pack with extension. Not a requirement for the first release.
- PDF upload
Will upload to ambari git into ambari/contrib and reference it. Tim has opened an Ambari JIRA for this. Currently waiting for Sumit and Yusaku to review.
- PDF references
Tim will change the wiki references to instead link to the PDF and mention the section within the document.
- Backwards compatibility
Will need to address that in future versions
