Notes from the ODPi Operations PMC 7/20 meeting

Attendees: Tim Thorpe, Sumit Mohanty, Nate D’Amico, Susan Malaika, Scott Gray, 2 others (I missed their names)

  1. Discuss updates to the spec

During the hackathon, Roman volunteered to take a pass at the first version of the non-Ambari spec. Sumit will help out.

Yusaku was going to take a pass at the first version of the Ambari spec. Yusaku and Tim will figure out how to collaborate on this.

  1. Versioning the documentation

Yusaku will send out an email about how to set up versioning for the documentation.

  1. Separating the requirements

Scott is going to look at separating the distribution requirements from the app developer requirements.

  1. Test harness

Next week, assuming we have a draft version of the ODPi spec for Ambari, we can go over the test harness based on that. Will probably need to create a test service (Hello World) packaged as an extension management pack. We will need to test whether we will actually require installation. Will need to verify what we actually need with a test service.

  1. Next meeting will be July 27th
