Concretely, the links on https://docs.openml.org/REST-API/ are broken.

Since #20 is also about broken links, I'm wondering whether there's a link checker for the docs so that we can automatically check them when building them.

Thanks. That URL should nowhere be referenced since the API docs moved to OpenML.org/apis. Did you find it externally? Eg. Indexed somewhere?

We either need to entirely remove the page (giving a 404), or put a message there that the page has been moved.

For me it shows up in a google search for "openml rest api". I would be fine removing it, and then hopefully google moves the correct page to the top.

Or we could replace it with a HTML redirect. I hope/assume Google will pick up on that (eventually), but until then it would redirect traffic correctly.

I just check, and yes, Google claims to pick up on a permanent redirect: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/301-redirects?hl=en
