I feel like Oracle is copying and duplicating this product, and I don't know if I can use this product directly Language Server for Java by Apache NetBeans. I can create a new project after using it completely without any problem, which is a very strange problem, I did not know this project existed before, but through the search engine I learned that oracle java development extension is based on this project, quote the original address: Oracle Offers Java Language Server Tool for VS Code

The NetBeans extension is different. I would only install one of the other - I suspect you will have problems if you install both. Same goes for the RedHat Java extension. |
No No, I didn't install any other plugins, I installed them all successfully after emptying them cleanly, and at the moment I VSCode only installs one Java development extension, this bug is strange...

Hey @auula, By looking at the issue I would say it might be some cache issue of the extension, can you please refer to this section on how to delete cache: https://github.com/oracle/javavscode?tab=readme-ov-file#troubleshooting. |

It seems a little bit strange issue as I am unable to reproduce it, but by analysing the output logs that you have given it seems client not getting connected to LSP server. So, to get further logs on the issue from the NetBeans LSP server. |
I think I found the reason through the log, maybe I am in mainland China Internet network problems, because mainland China Internet is a kind of local area network, our side to access the international Internet need to be accessed through special means and software, I guess this may be related to the network environment, I hope that you can optimize the development kit and network. I just successfully solved this bug by setting up a system proxy, and I also analyzed the logs to find the problem, thanks. As a programmer living in mainland China, this kind of problem is very common, because of the network proxy problem, in our country some international Internet sites can not be accessed normally... |
It's a bug specific to mainland China 😄 and I'm bummed... Maybe in the future there is a chance I think I will leave this region, I really like the American technology atmosphere free culture... 🙏 Thanks for your help, I'll try to read the logs output by the software more often in the future . |
To use proxies for remote open situations is rare, but it's a common problem in our area, requiring all kinds of network acceleration to write programs properly... |
