Depends on your optimization setup, but that's the main idea, to optimize by finding the most profitable strategy per given timeframe.
The quickest way (less interactions) is to optimize one strategy/timeframe at a time.
Then test them how they play together, as adding more strategies at once can influence overall results in different ways.
So it's healthy setup to have various strategies on each timeframe (so they won't trade the same way) to spread the risk.

It looks like many parameters were removed from v2.0.0

Since EA v2, the parameters' structure has been simplified for the easier use.
